It always causes concern to parents when their child becomes sick. We will do our best to see your sick child the same day you call us. With the current pandemic, we are making every effort to avoid having sick and well patients in the office at the same time. To help with this, we have adapted our scheduling to see well visits in the morning and early afternoon, followed by all the sick visits later in the day. This reduces exposure risks for all patients. We ask that you call us as soon as our office opens so that we may be able to give you one of our open appointments.

We understand that children do not get sick on a schedule. We do not have specific Saturday office hours, but if there is an emergency we are available through our on call service, and if the illness needs to be addressed on the weekend, and we are capable of handling the situation in our office, we will make every effort to open our office for you.

After our office closes, you may reach the doctor on call through our answering service by calling our main phone number and following the voice prompts. When you call the service, be sure to have your child’s name, date of birth, and phone number where the doctor can reach you available. Unfortunately, we will be unable to return phone calls to numbers that do not accept “call block”. If your phone has call block intercept, please provide an alternate number for the doctor to return your phone call. In order to ensure that the doctor is able to get to your concern in a timely fashion, please reserve the after hours calls for emergencies only. We will only be able to provide prescription refill requests during normal office hours Monday-Friday. To reduce the number of after hours call for refills, there will be a $10 fee for any medication refill requests done after hours.
