When Will Your Child Receive Vaccinations?
In addition to the schedule below, we offer a combination vaccine called Pentacel that combines the DTaP, IPV, and Hib doses at 2, 4, and 6 months into a single shot for each visit. This means, should you chose the Pentacel there would be two shots and the oral vaccine Rotateq at the 2, 4, and 6 month visits.
Gardasil 9 (HPV) is currently offered to both male and female patients age 9-21. It is given in a two dose series at intervals of 0 and 6 months if the series is started before the 15th birthday. If started after turning 15, it is given in a three dose series at intervals of 0, 2, and 6 months.
Menactra (Meningoccocal ACWY) is offered to all patients age 11-18 as a single dose with a booster between 16-18 years for those receiving the first dose before age 16.
Trumemba (Meningoccocal serogroup B) is offered to patients age 16-21 who are at risk of disease as a two or three dose series.
Quadracel is a combination vaccine that contains DTaP and IPV and can be administered at age 4-5 in place of the individual vaccinations
*Other well child visits include 18 months, 2 years, and annually thereafter.
